Jennifer Kubista
Dr. Jennifer Kubista joined the Central School District as superintendent in 2017.
Dr. Kubista's philosophy of the whole child carries through to the way she leads in the district, working to develop whole educators, where learning, growing, living (being happy and healthy), working, and leading are at the forefront as we engage in teaching and learning.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Dr. Kubista takes an active role in boards and councils that further the health of her students and community.
Oregon ASCD
Appointment to the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA) Equity Board
Appointment to the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) Classification and Districting Committee
Systems of Care Executive Council for Marion and Polk Counties.
EDUCATION
Dr. Kubista is a graduate of Gonzaga University (BBA), University of Connecticut (MA.Ed.), and Seattle University (Ed.D.). Dr. Kubista is a lifelong learner.
She earned a Doctorate of Educational Leadership at Seattle University in 2015. In 2014, she was recognized as an ASCD Emerging Leader and, in 2016 and 2017, she was recognized as an ASCD Influence Leader. She is a Fellow in the American Leadership Forum -- Class XXII. She continues to connect with the ALF chapter in Oregon.
